HHrrmm :? Might as well put in 20 fistfulls and gain 100 hp. :D

Seriously, I doubt it. I have heard that a few mothballs in the fuel will help to boost octane. I`m not sure if it`s true or not but the only way it could help (even if it does boost octane) would be if you have high compression and are experiencing detonation or spark knock.

xylene is also an octain booster.

10% in gasoline is supposed to be worth 3-4 points.

I know SPIIRIT won't make this mistake, but for the kids reading this, increasing octane beyond what is necessary for your cylinder pressure DECREASES horsepower, or at least, does not increase it.

edit: I just followed the link above, and learned that my information is redundant. Sorry.

years ago mothballs were made of a mixture of campfer and ether several other ingreadiants that dissolved in gas!

do yourself a big favor, drop 6 mothballs in a clear glass jar and let it sit in gas overnite, (Ill save you the trouble youll have partly dissolved SLIME, that will clog ANY gas filter) not the ideal way to go faster.

heres info on boosters
