proxlamus©
good luck, I know a guy who spent nearly $12,000 to put in his VG30ET engine into his 280Z... due to the customization to get the engine mounted properly, he had to move the steering column around, cut the firewall to put the engine back further.. alot of stuff. good luck
Guest Simon
Im in Australia steering is on the right hand side turbo on the left, works out well. I know it will cost quite abit but i have a few mates who are fabricators and very willing to help so that should keep costs down.
Guest Simon
OK here we go!!! The motor is in!! and looks great! Used standard gearbod mounts too. The gear stick came up the middle of the standard hole and looks like the standard drive shaft is going to fit too. Exhaust is done 3inch from the turbo back, very few bends... ie no dump pipe of such the turbo sits low and the pipe runs back from there all on the same level (almost). flywheel is sitting on the floor waiting to be put in this weekend, clutch is on order will be here hopfuly tuesday all going well. I cant afford a decent intercooler as yet so it is staying non intercooled (standard) with standard boost. I will be installing the computer to run it soon too. i am going to use a Wolf 3D http://www.wolfems.com.au/home they seem to be very good value for money! and Australian too. should be looking at around 230HP at the wheels with the standard engine. (only mods are exhaust, air intake and computer) i will be posting some pics soon, I will do my best to keep you posted
