Can someone with desktop dyno run my numbers?

Recommended Posts

I would really appreciate it if someone could run my numbers for me. I would buy the program but I dont plan on building another engine for a while so it would be pointless for me to buy it. I know I have asked for this before but I didnt have as much info as I do now. If you need more information please let me know!

Yeah I just downloaded the free demo of DD2003 but I cant change all the stuff I need to do my engine. I wasnt sure if it would be a big hassle or not? Can you buy DD at like Best Buy? Or is it only sold through their website?

I guess I'm just curious what DD has to say? I will be able to get on a dyno near the end of August for free(theres a dyno at the tech school I attend and I was buddy buddy with all my teachers!) I didnt think it would be too much of a hassle to throw my numbers on DD thats all.

Guy, if you can tell me when your intake and exhaust valves open and close in relation to TDC I can give you some rough numbers! I'll email them right off the program if you like.

How can I get those numbers? Sorry I didnt get back right away, my computer was freezing up and I had trouble dialing up again. God I cant wait till I get a DSL connection!

I used the cam tool for the numbers. I put the cam in 5* advanced as most are ground that way. not sure of yours. I got

RPM HP TQ

3500 265 397

4000 313 398

4500 329 384

5000 345 362

5500 345 330

6000 332 290

6500 305 247

If you want the actual valve events, go to http://www.prestage.com and hit downloads and cam files and see if it's in there. I'm not computer savvy enough to open it. But a small change in cam won't make any difference. Also I'm not savvy enough to download http://www.virtualengine2000.com a free program. Also there's 40+ HP lost in the muffler so add that in if you like, but these programs are better for comparing options than getting numbers.
