turbobluestreak
Ok I was messing with the L6 builder that I downloaded and used a set of L20A rods, LD28 Crank, and FJ20 pistons. note there not programed in there but then have a 32mm pin highth,13cc of a dish and are 89mm wide. Now I do think this would work and but I just wanted to check before I got crazy on planing on doing it this way. Please let me know what you think I'm currious to hear from all of you. tbs
TimZ
To make a piston with a 32mm pin height work with the stroker crank on an L28 block, you would need a rod length of 134.37mm for zero deck height. How long are the L20A rods? I thought they were longer than that.
yo2001
RB26DETT pistons (30mm), LD28 crank (83mm) , and SR20DET rods (136.3mm) would workout with -0.1 deck height. Then, you have to shave the journal off the crank 2mm since the big ends on the SR20DET rods are 2mm less. My concern is would the shorter piston skirts, piston knock. FJ20 parts are hard to come by too. If you find one, I'll take a et of rods. (140mm)
Guest zline
i'd use FJ rods on some wiseco pistons with a ld28 crank thats been balanced shotpeened but NOT undercut...
