Guest Anonymous
Has anyone ever put a jeep 4 liter in a first generation Z. Seems like the motor would produce a very good power to weight ratio just wondering if anyone had info
Guest Zachb55
Hey, actually I dont think this has been done, just because it would be easier in some cases to go with other swaps for more power and similar weights for same $. also, how many bolt-on turbo kits can you find for a jeep engine? none. now how many can you find for a SR20DET? TONS. im not saying dont try it, maybe you have the jeep engine sitting there just wanting to be used, and the skills and tools/supplies to custom make mounts to fit the thing, if this is true then go for it man, just know that i dont think there are many people that have done, or even considered this swap... good luck though, make sure you try a search too, i know this has been mentioned once before -zach

CruxGNZ
If I remember right, there was a post about this last year. I think the conclusion was that the engine was just to heavy and to tall. !M!
