Its small but it ate all the way through the metal ( located on the lower passanger side). what can I do to get rid of this problem, and how much would it cost? Tim240z Posted August 2, 2003 Share Posted August 2, 2003 Sand off all the paint from the entire panel, and check for rust on any of the other sections. If the rust is only in the one spot, cut it out and then cut a piece of sheet metal to the same size and weld it in. Then use some plastic filler and smooth it out, sant it down and primer and paint.
