J_B
Just wondering which air dam i should buy. I heard that the urethane air dams cause some problems. But if someone can tell me which one i should get, that would be helpful. thanks!
Tim240z
the urethane ones are fine, you just have to use a flexible paint (like bumper paint) and you have to brace them a bit because the wind (at speed) tends to buckle them. Tim
HIWAY ONE
Urethane won't crack easily like fiberglass. Terry

The urethane ones are fine, but they really benefit from a simple brace from behind--see Auxilary's pics---at least he did post his solution with pics once before...or try emailing him for a pic. Also the urethane airdam requires paint with a flexing agent mixed in. The fiberglass ones can shatter if they hit something, but they are inherently stiffer and don't require special paint. Guest greimann
Urethane can withstand many impacts with curbs and parking blocks. It is a good choice for a street car. Supporting them from the backside is a good idea.
