Jwink25
I can get mine done for $60. Is this a fair price? I just don't want to be ripped off. Seems ok, I just want to know what others have paid. Thanks, Jason
DavyZ
Very fair price IMO. Is this Cermakrome or something chrome-like to be shiney? I love the way they look. I had some block-huggers done for $98 and they took care of everything, including stripping the old paint. The L6 header is BIG, so I think you got a square deal. tickwon
It sounds like a deal to me. I got mine Swain Tech Coated and it cost me about $120. Chris

DavyZ
Davy' date=' where did you get the manifold coated at?I got a manifold i need coated.[/quote'] It was from Capp's Brite Hot Coating--got their ad in DRIVE! magazine and they were awesome! I can email you later on with the address and phone number when I get home (I think they are in Concord?)---the only bummer is paying for shipping, but my block huggers were pretty light so it really didn't matter. fl327
Thanks Davy, I was actually hoping that they were local. I think I will go with Hooker Headers to coat mine down here in SSF My friend got his Mopar long tubes done up for little more than 100, two days downtime. I may do the intake as well, dang that stuff looks so good!!!
Jwink25
I can get it done in different colors...but yes, it does shine kinda like chrome. I might get the intake done to. They also do powder coatings. So thats where I will send my oil pan to. This place has only been around for a few months that I know of. So I'll wait and see how well the exhaust turns out. Its cool to see more shops like this opening up around Joplin, MO. I'll try and post some before and after pics. I'll aslo get some pics of my engine up soon. It's looking good IMO.
