EvilRufusKay
I just found out about Arizona Z but all their stuff seems to have been discontinued. Several of their products for body conversion are pretty cool. Does anyone know of a place other than the Z store that sells this type of fiberglass mods? Thanks! Guest chip
I'll second reaction research. I have the subtle z body kit(not installed yet). The workmanship is top notch and John is a pleasure to deal with. Chip
EvilRufusKay
Thanks Chip I have actually been looking @ the SubtleZ but I would preferre an air dam with brake cooling holes and cutouts for turn signals. I think I might ask him if he will sell the kit minus the front air dam. Is there a rear ground effect in the package?
Guest Willieboy240z
http://www.kaminari.com/products/240_260_280Z.htm The airdam you describe sounds like mine, the K020020. I am not sure it will fit a 280...
EvilRufusKay
Willie, Does yous have the bumper simulation with the black strip on it like the pic? It is nice!!!
Guest chip
the kit contains front fenders, rear quarter panels, air dam, and hood. His website lists a rear spoiler but he no longer makes them. You can buy the whole kit or just the pieces you want. So it wouldnt be a problem to drop the air dam from the package. If your hood is in good shape I would think about dropping that as well. EvilRufusKay
does your hood have the reverse scoop though? Is it fiberglass? That stinks about the spoiler.... that one is nice. I wonder why he no longer makes it?
Guest Willieboy240z
Mine has separate fiberglass bumpers. No rubber inserts. Also, I have not decided exactly how (or if) I will be utilizing the openings. I first thought about putting fog lamps there, but now I am thinking of running ductwork to cool my brakes. Or, I might fashion a cold air supply for my carbs. This would be easy with FI...
EvilRufusKay
Do the fiberglass bumpers come with the dam? If not where did you get them. By the way what is FI..... Thanks!!

EvilRufusKay
Thanks!!! I gotta get my lingo down. Yea your right all you would have to do for that is get it to the air box right?
Guest chip
Rufus, the hood from Reaction research is fiber glass and has the vent cutouts like the 280's, for an extra charge he can glass over them to make it like the stock 240 hood. He offers two versions of the hood, stock and a "high rise" type, both are fiberglass. You can get the same spoiler from one of the other vendors but which one escapes me now. Guest Willieboy240z
You can get early 240zflimsy fiberglass bumpers from zcarparts.com. I think I paid about $100 each for them. But you won't get them to mount on a 280 without a lot of work fabricating brackets and removing/customizing your current bumper brackets.
