mobythevan
I just went back and read through all of the northstar posts again and was wondering if anyone went on to do the swap? Everbody sure thinks it it would be a good swap, anyone proved that out? Also, there was some controversy over whether the northstar is a 60 degree block or 90 degree. Seems to be listed either way on various sites.

BRAD D
Do you think that exhaust would be loud? Nice, is it for sand rails, dune buggy.

mobythevan
The northstar is very popular for sand rails.
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
ooo, that makes me tingle. I thought about the Northstar for a while (mainly because I used to really be into the idea of making a Fiero kit car). The Northstar seems like a great idea for a swap, but I would prefer the versatility of other GM small blocks. I'd rather have a different SBC and put the money into building it up rather than dump all of the money for a stock Northstar. BTW, if you are mainly interested in the twin DOHC aspect, there were some old Vette engines that were T-DOHC
