RPMS
The engine and tranny are in, and now I need to get the driveshaft made. Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent fabricator anywhere within 100 miles of Dallas? Economy is a big concern - it doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to work. The shops I've nosed around in want to charge me 200-300 bucks for the honor of taking my two pieces and merging them. Frankly, I'm having a tough time coming up with that sort of money. I planned on something in the $100-150 range. Any suggestions?

Cody 82 ZXT
I've used them before and was very happy with what I got. I did something similar to what your doing and the cost was about 40 bucks. Ofcourse this was 7 years ago.

Greg SmileZ
I had them do my drive shaft as well. Cost about $70 if I recall. I've been happy with the work they did. A dirt track racer friend of mine has all his driveshafts modified by them and he is satisfied with their work. Go for it and good luck.... RPMS
Dang, they charged me $103 for the thing, which sounds high given what y'all paid, but is still half the amount most other shops in the area estimated.
