80LS1T
What kind of ignition system do you have? If its stock your ignition is probably not able to keep up with the higher RPMS? Guy
Guest Anonymous
to tell u the truth, when i first bought it, it wasnt dooing it at all. but it needed a clutch, so i had my mechanic put in a new clutch, in order to put in a new clutch, he dissasembled the weber, manifold, header, exhaust everything came down, so im thinking when he put everything back, i think somewhere some didnt go on right. but its annoying i cant drive on the highway cause if i go fast , and let go of the gas, it starts to go bang bang bang! its got a mallory ignition. its a turbo engine without the engine(f54block, p90) so yea that's my case. also, today, i was checking it out, when i press the pedal to have the rpm go up, like after 3k rpms, the car shakes and then it starts to do the banging sounds, who knows what it is. BayAreaZT
You can call Scott Performance. They're on Lafayette St. too. You can also try Don's nissan in campbell.
Moridin
If you have the money, try Rebello Racing in Pacheco/Pleasant Hill. My wallet took a hit, but everything runs extremely well.
Moridin
Oh, I'm pretty sure that bang, bang, bang is from the car running rich. Mine does the same thing, but it is from the car running extremely rich. It is nothing to do with Rebello, but they do know how to take care of it if you want them to.
