zguy95135
i had just gotten the car running but it had a huge hole in the headgasket, when i slightly revved the car sometimes it wouldn't go all the way down to idling RPM. if i revved it up to 2000 it would stick at 1500, or if i revved it up to 4000 it would stick at 3000. i would have to blip the throttle to get it back down. is there something wrong with vaccum somewhere or was it just the headgasket? Guest midnitz
MOst of the problem lays in the throttle linkage.....use some grease on them white little ball joints and shoot a little PB blaster in the intake's throttle linkage towers, then check to see if your floor mats are getting the pedal stuck....I remember the big throat TB having these problems... I reinstalled the stock reworked TB assy and will look to sell the bigthroat TB
