  5. 04 TSX, 6MT, navi. I gave it a much needed detailing this morning and now shes lookin sexy .
  6. Yep, Ive been there too. They had a tour with MSA a few years ago. Amazing place.
  7. Whats the procedure for that like? The owner still owes a substantial amount on it to the bank, and since they technically still owe it how do you transfer the title? I heard from a few people outside of California that you have to pay the owner, then they have to pay the bank, and then you have to wait 6-10 weeks to get the title transferred to you... Has anyone in California had to deal with this before?
  8. I was for a while at 15, but now I'm old at 19...
  9. http://flickr.com/photos/amandakne/ Looks bad in Santa Clarita
  10. I called up my friend at UCSD and he's stuck there until the fires get under control, since all the roads are gridlocked and the exits to get to Poway are blocked off. I called his sister and their family in Poway and theyre ok for now, the fires around them are getting pushed away from their house. I hope they it all under control soon =/ Does anyone know how they started? It was fine yesterday morning and they just exploded all over...
  11. It was pretty bad yesterday up where I live in Ventura, I think there were a few fires in Santa Paula. I hope they get it under control soon.
  12. Now, are you supposed to eat it afterwards? O_o
  13. Can you put a normal AK stock on it, and then a Monsterman grip? That SHOULD be legal, unless AK stocks are banned for some ridiculous reason.
  14. How can the internals of the SVD be identical to an AK if it uses a different round (7.62x54 compared to 7.62x39), maybe a non thumbhole stock could be installed? But anyways, awesome rifle . And $350 a piece is a great price, I might pick one up next time im back home. Much better then the preban AR-15s they have for around a grand.
  15. O_O, how much was it? And where did you get it? My friend was telling me about those the other day. btw, if thats legal couldn't a Dragunov be legal as well?
  16. I got my 43 Izzy ex-sniper yesterday. The bore and crown are perfect, the thing looks amazing.
  17. Actually I shot with the bayo out, I think Im just jerking the trigger a little. Next time I'll aim a little lower and see if that makes a difference
  18. Sure no problem, how does $2 a clip sound? I've seen em go for like $3+ sometimes. They're still like brand new, and authentic (with the factory 10 stamp on em). I went down the the range, and I guess my groupings are decent for a first time rifle shooter (I did 10 rounds when I first got it at a 50ft indoor range, but that doesn't count). Man, the 7.62 has got quite a kick, after 100 rounds my shoulder was crying for mercy. Here's my first 20 shots I took, offhand at 100 yards. Here's my last group of targets, the top left and middle are shooting from the bench (I shot about 10 rounds at each) and the rest are 5 shots offhand. I think my main problem is that Im slightly subconsciously flinching and pulling the trigger a bit roughly. A recoil pad would help, it got pretty painful after a while shooting bench.
  19. Im headed off to this one in a few hours http://www.parkhere.org/sccsearch/ui.jsp?ui_mode=answer&prior_transaction_id=3114&iq_action=5&answer_id=16777216&highlight_info=4196356,322,343&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Esccgov%2Eorg%2Fportal%2Fsite%2Fparks%2Fparksarticle%3Fpath%3D%252Fv7%252FParks%2520and%2520Recreation%252C%2520Department%2520of%2520%2528DEP%2529%252FPark%2520Activities%252FSports%2520Facilities%252FShooting%2520Range%26contentId%3D27e598ba77784010VgnVCM10000048dc4a92____%26cpsextcurrchannel%3D1#__highlight
  20. It took a bit of work, but I got it open. Im not sure what type it is, its not yellow or silver tip, just a FMJ. And its not WW2 surplus, the copper casing looks too modern. They came on stripper clips already, which was a nice surprise
