cygnusx1
Will an 82 Turbo ECU function fine on my 83 Turbo Motor with 83 electronics Thanks, Dave
Guest bastaad525
Should... the connections are the same I know that I also know I took my motor out of an '81, and swapped over to an '82 wiring harness and ECU, but still running the '81, crank mounted CAS, and it all works fine together. It shouldn't all be compatible. I think the one thing that might make a difference... dont remember where I got this idea... but you may want to be careful about if the ECU was for a manual trannied car or an auto. But then again... I know poeple put manuals into auto cars all the time... so you'll probably be fine either way.
