Guest Lsb4life
can anyone tell me what size autometer guages fit in a 240z in the stock spots? and what model numbers they are?
jaime240z
Speedo and tach = 5 inch. The other three are 2 5/8 inch. The model numbers will vary depending on what brands and styles you choose. Thoses are the magic sizes for your 240 8) Click on my link and you can see pics of Autometer Ultra-lite in my 240. ps. A 2 5/8" guage will also fit quite nicely in the dash vent hole. Guest Iceickle
I cant, for the life of me, undo the screw that is holding my clock in... I can see the screw, fit a screwdriver in there, but it will NOT budge, ive tried all different types of screwdrivers (right angled ones etc, its in a bad spot) and lubricants, but it wont come out! Anyone got some suggestions? I'm sick of having a broken clock :|
jaime240z
If it's like mine, the screw also has a 6 point head on it. I was able to use a 1/4 " ratchet with 8 or 10 mm socket for extra leverage. If not see if you can take just the guage out first and then take the mounting bracket off once the guage is out of the way.
