hauserdaddy
I purchased a 72 240Z and I am trying to determine what kind of rims are on it. I am not very familiar with rims so bear with me if I sound silly. I will post a pic as soon as I can but here is a description. Chrome rim with an "ET" on the center cap. The design on them is 1-1.5 inch cut out circles running around the rim. The guy told me they were 60 series rims but I have not seen rims that look like these before. Any help would be great! auxilary
i assume that the series you implied is some sort of model for the rim. normally, 60 series would indicate the aspect ratio of the sidewall of the tire. I'm going to venture a guess that if they have holes cut out in a pattern, they're weld draglites
hauserdaddy
They do have holes cut out in a pattern around the rim. I was hoping the ET on the center would be able to give someone an idea as to the make/model. Thanks for the help!
Mike kZ
"ET Mags" where popular in the 70's, They could be "slotties" . Are these aluminum or steel?
hauserdaddy
They are steel. I looked at the weld draglites page and they look very much like these but I am not sure they are the exact same. Do you have any info on these "ETmags"? hauserdaddy
No, they look very similar to these except they have an ET on the center.
Mike kZ
They look like your pic, are steel, and are made by ET. I think those were concidered truck rims back in the day.
