Chaparral2f
The boots on the steering rack of my z31 need to be replaced. Since I need both arms to work on the car, and two legs to just get around, the price that the local Nissan dealer wants is out of the question. (An arm and a leg) Is there any less expensive way to go? Does someone make aftermarket parts? Joe

Warren
Advance Auto Parts, about $12-14 each side... Not a hard deal to do yourself, as long as you have a pickle fork (tie rod end separator). While your at it, replace your tie rod ends as well. They're not expensive and you'll have to remove them to replace the boots anyway. Just an idea. Don't forget to get the front end aligned after doing this. Warren
