Guest jjohart
Hi, my steering wheel makes a rubbing sound, felt through the wheel and sometimes heard a bit someplace under and/or in front of the car...especially noticeable at slow speeds, and ONLY when turning left...is this a Democrat's car or what?! Seriously, is this something to do with recirculating ball, and in any case, I've heard of folks upgrading to rack and pinion...what advantage does that have, who sells them and is it worth it/a "real" upgrade? Thanks
JMortensen
You might want to check out some 510 forums for a good answer to this question. They seem to know how to make the recirculating ball setup work, and work well. Have you tried adjusting the steering gearbox? Is it loose?
