Drax240z
Its probably chassis flex. Often the interior panels in the rear of the Z will rub each other as the unibody flexes, giving sounds as you describe. However, a littlle more description of the problem wouldn't hurt... are we talking sqeaking with driveshaft revolutions? Could be your diff, u-joints, etc. Best bet is to jack up the car, do an inspection of the rear, check u-joints, bushings, etc. If the sound is coming from the interior of the car though I'd suggest adding a cage/strut tower bar in the rear to stiffen things up. Tim240z
Yeah, does it make the same creeking sound when entering a driveway, or other uneven surface? I bet it's the chassis(unibody) twisting. Tim
Guest Joe017
Drax240z, it does sound like it could be coming from the inside of the car. it also creeks when in turning. so a strut tower bar would help me out... well, i am going to change the bushings and get a strut tower bar. if u recomend a specific type please let me know.
