240zprace
old one.... t3t4, H pattern comp. wheel in 50AR housing stock t3 exhaust wheel & housing new turbo.... t3t4, 60-1 comp. wheel in 50AR housing stage 4 exhaust wheel i did noticed the comp wheel on the new turbo is different and the exhaust wheel on the new turbo is huge compared to old one. also the exhaust hole is alot bigger too.. i dont know much about turbos, but what kind of hp differents should i expect. i was told from the seller that at 18lb boost, i sould make close to 100 more hp from my old turbo. although my old turbo pulls like an animal already.... yo2001
H3 and 60-1 isn't going to make too much difference. Only difference is going to be the inducer. 2.298" vs 2.324". H3 is like a cut down version of 60-1. You might get little more HP from bigger turbine wheel (don't know what the stage 4 is) and .60 A/R To4E cover. Pyro
A stock T3 turbine is not a good flow match for a T4 compressor. So you should make some more hp due to less restriction on the exhaust side. However, expect more lag, maybe 500 or 600 rpms more. I think the new turbo has the "ability" make another 100 hp, but I don't think you will get another 100 hp unless more rpms and more boost is made. A simple turbo swap will not yeild that much power. You will also need a spacer to use the bigger turbo. I think you should had modified up your old turbine and stayed with the t4 H compressor wheel.
