z ya
Well I am trying to figure out what short block I want to build for the the 240 after my loss of the 350. It looks like it is going to be either a 383, 391 stoker. I also plan to use the 6 inch rods to get the good rod to stroke ratio. Here is kinda what I want to do : 383 short block afr 195's 10 to 1's comp extreme hyd roller 282/288 520/540 1.52 comp magnum rollers Air Gap intake 750 Holley DP 1 5/8's block huggers magna flow x pipe with spintechs 2.5 duals Proform Hei
Mike kZ
So what broke in the 350?
z ya
Not sure but something when bad. Even with the gear reduction starter it has trouble turning the motor over. The short block was used to begin with and had an unknown milage so its not a huge loss. I figure while its out I might as well put the 383 in while its torn apart. Z-Dreamer
Hey Zya, give Bob Johnson at Johnson Racing a call, he's the one who's building my 350 sbc. He's located in Sacramento and he would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Johnson Racing (916) 481-9263 Mark
