s5fc3s
Hello all, Question: Is it possible to have a rear wheel that is 15 x 8.5, offset = -7mm that fits under the stock suspension? with or without flares? (This means the backspacing is 4" based on the numbers above) Also, what size tires work with a 15x8.5 wheel, stock rear suspension? ----- Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. s5fc3s
the problem isn't only the clearance issue. i think with 4" backspacing, it will clear the stock rear suspension. the other problem is who knows what size tire (still commonly manufactured and available) fits on a 15 x 8.5 wheel? my guess is 245 50 15, or 265 50 15. Brad-ManQ45
If it really is an 8.5" wheel then the width (for backspacing) is 9.5". -7mm is about .25", meaning that you have 4.5" backspacing. If you are acyually measuring the width of the wheel (rim to rim distance), then 4" backspacing is correct.
