Chaparral2f
I actually had a rewarding moment returning from a miserible trip to Portland, after the recent rotten weather. I was in the center second lane passing another truck on packed snow and ice at about 35 miles an hour when a fairly new Jeep Grand Cherokee, complete with snowboards and skis on the top rack, whipped around me at about twice my speed. he driver got beside me and layed on his horn while flipping me off. I guess he was pissed that I wasn't staying in the slow lane. About five miles further down the road I had happy experience of seeing this same jerk standing looking at his jeep that was now sitting on top of the oleander bu;shes in the median. Just to show that I am a wonderful person, ant that all truck drivers are courtious, I honked my air horns at him, and waved. Geez that felt great after three days of hanging chains. baddriver
That is a heartwarming story. Secretly, or perhaps openly, everyone who has ever been passed in bad weather wants to see that happen.
spdsk8r
A while back, I was driving home from the east side of the state in a blizzard. I-96 was a two track, we were travelling about 40mph. Then I notice in my mirror a woman in her Toyota coming up the left lane at about 70mph in six inches of snow on top of ice. She went by me and just as she got next to the car in front of me, her car abruptly does a 90 degree to the right and and shoots between the car in front and me, right into the ditch on the right. Of course, we gave the obligatory wave as we went by.
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
Those are very nice stories, and I thank you both greatly for waving and rubbing it in. I have never had much tolerance for stupid people in bad weather, and after my most recent accident with someone speeding on wet highway, I have zero tolerance and think they all deserve to pay! akeizm
I've got a story about an idiot in a huge van (prolly 4wd) but they don't crash, it just ends up with me swaring and giving them the finger. But hell, I'll say it anyway. I just got my car back from being rust repaired and resprayed, and I was at the airport picking up a friend. The road out from the airport is 100kph (60mph), 2 lanes and is stright for ages with no on/off roads, no traffic lights/signs and there was absolutely no traffic except for us two. Now I'm going along this road at the speed limit and I come up behind this HUGE van thats going under the speed limit. So I pull across into the other lane to over take them. I get right beside them, then all of a sudden the thing just drives into my lane! Thats right forced me off the road! Lucky the grass was flat next to the road cause I was on it at 60mph holding it stright. I blew my horn, swore and gave the finger. For the reason this person came across is unknown. But I would have really loved to have punched that person right in the face. But thats my story, bit of an anti-climax.
