  1. One of my other interests is inline speedskating, therefore spdsk8r (speedskater).
  2. 1974, My last year in the army, anual qualification, our company was extremely understaffed. After qualification we had MUCH ammo left over. Several of us were kept behind to get rid of the extra rounds. I ran 1800 rounds through my M-16 in about a half hour, the barrel was cherry red. The guy next to me put 2200 rounds through his in the same amount of time, his barrel was white hot. After cool down, my M-16 had a visible droop in the barrel... ...didn't matter to me, as it was the last time I would fire it (short timer).
  3. The only GM manifold I have found that works is one with the casting number 364747. It has a notch that clears the stearing box (see picture above).
  4. Davy, he completed his 4 years in July, so he is out now. He is on inactive list now but won't be called up again as he can not pass the physical. Led... Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. He is keeping a positive attitude. He knows God spared him for a reason, two of his buddies were killed. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=105091&highlight=Iraq
  5. US Army, 1972-1975. After Engineering school, we all received onion skins (pre-orders) to Nam. In the end we were split up, no one in our class went there. I was sent to Germany to the engineering platoon in a Maintanance Company. I volenteered and got assigned to ski patrol in the Alps during the winters. I know, cushy job, but I did feel the effects upon returning to the "World". My son wasn't as lucky. Marine Corp, 2002-2006. During his second tour in Iraq, he was blown up in his Humvee by an IED. That was over a year ago. For the loss of vision in one eye, burn scars, severe pain in his left arm, hip, knee, and ankle, still has shrapnel working its way out of his body, short term memory problems, and he is suffering from PTSD: the VA gave him 10% disability ($115/month).
  6. Mike, Dodge Dakota with the 5.9L engine. Mine has been sectioned to fit under my stock hood even with the 1" carb. spacer.
  7. Dodge Dakota 5.9L, modified (sectioned) to fit under my stock hood.
  8. It's a throttle body hat from a Dodge Dakota with a 5.9L engine.
  9. The easiest is to go with a carbed 350. Mine was from a 91 G-30 van, I removed the TBI and installed the intake and carb. As was stressed before, get a running vehicle. I made my own mounts, I have less than $20 into them.
  10. Sisters Mary Catherine, Maria Theresa, Ann Marie, Rose Frances, & Mary Agnes left the Convent on a trip to St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City and were sight-seeing on a Tuesday in July. It was hot and humid in town and their traditional garb was making them so uncomfortable. They decided to stop in at Patty McGuire's Pub for a cold soft drink. Patty had recently added some special legs to his barstools which were the talk of the fashionable eastside neighborhood. All 5 Nuns sat up at the bar and were enjoying their Cokes when Monsignor Riley entered the bar through the front door with Father McGinty for a cold drink when they were shocked and almost fainted at what they saw.
  11. My 91 truck motor had flat tappit lifters.
  12. I used a shifter from a 94 Camaro (mounted low) without modifying the tunnel hole. The Camaro shifter also incorperates neutral safety and backup light switches.
  13. Notice the green light on the tree is blinking. I believe the tree lights are LED's and they are duty cycling them so they can hit them hard with voltage to make them bright and still get longevity.
  14. This happened on our local highway (US 131) Tuesday. Bet the truck driver, as well as the driver of the first car, had to clean his pants after.
