BAlford
This has happened twice. The first time I was at a loss, but someone on Hybridz solved the problem for me. The brake lights would not go off. What happens is that there is a small button on the brake pedel that after time gets old and breaks from the presure of the brake switch. When this happens the brake light switch goes through a hole. You will find the broken button in the floorboard. It has happened on the car that I have now. I haven't fixed it yet. The last time I used some weather strip glue on a penny to fix the problem.
labrat
Yeah, it happened to me too. Same solution as well. Used jb weld to glue a penny to the pedal. Worked great for 2+ years! Bill
Phantom
I just used a 1/4-20 bolt & nut and tightened them up through the hole. That has worked for me for about 4 years now. I keep telling myself I should go by a wrecking yard and pry 2 or 3 out of some wrecks.
