4.6L 32 valve Lincoln Engine - Best Chassis for Roadracing?

Any experience with transplants of the milder 32 valve 4.6 L Ford / Lincoln Engines?

I have three Ford engines (a 260; a 460; and the 4.6L) two Z cars; and 2 Mazda RX-7s.

Somebody else suggested an older front engine Porche chassis for high speed handling.

Any comments?

a 4.6L is huge, its bigger than a Big Block 460ci motor, the biggest engine ford ever put in a car, I highly doubt it will fit in a 280z, they are incredibly wide.

just a note of caution on that Porch idea. I believe they are all rear transaxle cars, making an engine swap a fabricator's nightmare.

On the Porsche concept, a 944 turbo (internally known as a 951) is an outstanding high speed chassis. Renagade Hybrids make a adapter plate and mounts to bolt in a Chevy V8. I don't know about Ford engines, but if it can be done with the Chevy they can do it with the Ford.
