A buddy of mine from this site thought he remembered someone fitting a Camaro console (which are plentiful at the JY), into the 240Z with relative ease. We all know what a dash is, a console is the part that goes down the center of the car between the seats. If I suggested putting seats from a corvette in my Z I certainly wouldnt expect everyone to come back and tell me how ugly corvette bumpers would look.. I just checked with dictionary.com to confirm that I am not on crack... Console n.: (definition #5) A small storage compartment mounted between bucket seats in an automobile. 240Z2NV Posted February 2, 2004 Author Share Posted February 2, 2004 The reason that I brought up the dash caps AS A SEPARATE ISSUE was because I had gotten some interest in my initial query. But, as you see, all too quickly the topic got off track (see "Oh, a kitty!" and "PDK Fiberglass only weighs 4 lbs., but how much is CF?"), though I was ROFLMAO. Look, I just thought if I weren't going to find out if someone actually had used a Camaro console in their Z, as I was misinformed, I could at least find out who sells the best Dash Cap without using a new thread. That's it. So, I've given up on the Camaro console thing, and I'm still hoping to find out who sells the best quality dash CAP.
