A couple Z buds have helped with their knowledge of a sale or their own appraisal (thanks!!). Anyone else with knowledge of ANY sale or advertisement for a nice Z car whole or in parts/stock or modified that was priced at ~8kUS and hopefully some well above please drop me a line. JMortensen Posted February 9, 2004 Share Posted February 9, 2004 I don't have any good suggestions for your current situation, but I can tell you that I got my Z appraised at $15K, and that's what I used to get insurance on it. Their is no agreed value policy for which my car qualifies (it's only for collector cars of which mine does not meet specifications/age of car/only pleasure use/OEM type conditino etc.....). We have a single provincial/government insurance program here I won't start ranting about. Their is aftermarket insurance available at exhorbitant prices. waynekarnes Posted February 9, 2004 Share Posted February 9, 2004 Ross, was thinking, that maybe for free, or a little cash, one of those companies, might turn loose, what they think is the average value for a zx, of the caliber, stolen from you. they keep track of everything. we know that they have that info. you might want to grab a copy of hemming's motor news and check the insurance ads, for phone numbers. with any luck, there may also be a few z cars for sale in there, might be good ammo, to take to the insurance company. plus, any classified ads in the on line z clubs, or craigs list. i was suitably P.O.ed. when i heard that some a hole had made off with your car. hope that the bad guys are rotting some where. just thinking out loud, wayne ps if the money is there, this summer, just might be knocking on your door for a rear disc brake kit.
