Guest bastaad525
Okay I know this probably seems pretty out of place here but a while back a bunch of guys were talking about this game, so I figured what better place to ask. I've been playing for quite a while now and have not yet unlocked the engine swap mode in this game. I've unlocked almost every other mod. Can someone please tell me how to unlock this feature so I can get my 240z to be a little faster? Poor thing is maxed out at like 250hp! Forrest
DO A SEARCH! Hahahahaha, I finally got to say it. Well, do one next time, I already posted the instructions here: http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=29121&highlight=free
Guest ON3GO
ya i did it.. Turbo swaps are dumb in the game.. the biggest and best N/A V8 swap is the best. you can hold the select button durning the loading screen and get "NAWZ" lol that you can use 3 times or so. i beat the game and was fun. fav car in the game is by far the old Mustang, does like 268 or faster lol. mike
Guest bastaad525
Actually I forgot to mention I did do a search and found that topic... but that didn't work for me. On my Z31 2+2 turbo I have like 1700 miles and still no engine swap option. And that is baffling me.... are you guys sure there is no other condition for enabling the engine swaps??? On3go- how to you actually use the nawz during a race? I use the high boost feature (hit select during a race) all the time.... and half the time I end up blowing the motor from leaving it on too long... man I love that... more games need realistic stuff like that. Guest ON3GO
well i let the game run without the game itself in the PS2. put it back i when all the mileage was racked up. i then just went to the motor swap thingy and it worked. the nawz is the same as the high boost thingy for turbo cars but only works for n/a cars. just hold select when choosing your area to race in and hold it untill the computer shows the car driving. just dont use it alot cuz it blows it up.. only gives u 3 sprays anyways. mike
Guest bastaad525
to race in and hold it untill the computer shows the car driving.just dont use it alot cuz it blows it up.. only gives u 3 sprays anyways. mike ROFL yeah it does!!! Heheh thanks for that tip... helped my 240 become a contender again. Of course, went crazy on it the first time and blew my motor... I still say that is one of the coolest features ever in a racing game. yeah I knew about the free mileage trick as well but man I left it on all night and I forget how much mileage it gave me but it was some low ass amount and I didn' t like leaving my ps2 on for that long... Oh well... I'll just keep on racing. Anyways I just got to the 'third mission' which is after you beat all three areas and then your completion percentage goes from like 90% to 25% and you find out that you're not nearly as close to finishing the game as you thought!
