Will 15x8 4" backspace fit a stock 260?

I'll likely be lowering the car 1-1.5" in the next few weeks, will 15x8 Centerlines fit the car without whacking the fenders?

Should fit no problem, I had them on my car before install my 17's and it is lowered with the Motorsports springs.

My experience was it will be CLOSE! I ran 8" wide wheels with 245s with a 4.5" BS and I had a finger's width between the fender lip and the sidewall.

4.5 is ideal especially if you are going to run a fat tire. Going around corners and the sidewall flexing may indeed cause a rub. With coilover it would be decent ...

Plus suspension travel will be an issue might hit the insides of fenderwalls or be very very close to the suspension.
