scott19
Has anyone ever explored the possibility of putting flares from a mid 80's Supra on an 240-280? I don't know if they're separate pieces or an actual part of the fender, but it struck me that they're similar looking to ZG flares but without the notches for the bolts. Anyone ever looked into this?
datsunlover
Yah I have, but I don't know if it would look good on the Z... The 1st gen supras didn't have nice round wheel arches, they were sorf of squared off... It might look a little weird on a Z..
scott19
Ahhh, I see what you mean. I just saw one in traffic the other day, and it started me thinking. But I only saw it from the back, so I didn't think about them being square in the arches. Thanks Datsunlover!

MaTTSuN
i did it on my 75 280z, I just pop riveted them in and i had 2 grind down the notches in the middle from the side molding and fill it with fiber glass. I only did the rears and the front of the flair just behind the door has 2 be made longer, i just made some little extentions with fiber glass and chicken wire... im not sure how 2 post up a pic but maybe ill figure it out. i liked the overall look but i spent allot of time getting it just right and molding it in so it looks like a peice of the fender.
