Guest 3154tm
has anyone in the group managed to swap a Q45 R230 pinion flange with a pinion flange from a Z32 R230 without pulling the rear cover? in other words, doing it the way it's done on the R200 diff. thanks. Tim240z
Why are you swapping the flange?
Guest 3154tm
the Z pinion flange has a 3/4" smaller diameter and i need the extra clearance.
73BOTIZ
I removed the one on my Q45 R230 without removing the rear cover. I just removed the pinion nut and used a 3 finger bearing puller. Mike D.
