Wagz
Waaayyyy good deal! I was at an auto swap meet all weekend and I must have seen a half-dozen or more complete LT1/LS1 & T56 combos with harnesses. There were private parties and wrecking yards represented and the prices were between $2,600 to $3,500.

love-my-V8-280Z
DITTO! I shopped and shopped and had to go out of state to get mine. I paid 3,000 for a 95 Z28 with 55,000 on it. You are doing well if it is clean.

Hmm, I currently looking for a low milage LT1 with a T56 tranny for my current Z project. Where are you located by the way?
love-my-V8-280Z
MiloZ, There are several scherch engines on the web that will scan junk yards. Shot for a LT1 and see what u get,. That is how I got mine after calling every yard in my city.
Dan Juday
That is a very good price. We paid $2700 for a '95 combo with more miles. Be advised though that a '96 will have an OBD II ECM.
