Guest juliangall
I am looking for someone in the Los Angeles area that can help me with the V8 conversion in my Z. I have all of the JTR conversion items and a new aluminum radiator. I also have the small block 350 engine and 700r4 trans. I am seriously looking to do this now. If interested, please contact me with a ballpartk cost etc. Thanks Julian 805-499-8526
Tim240z
What is it you want done...the entire conversion?
Guest juliangall
Tim I want the engine and trans put in, the car wired etc. I am not going to use the heater or A/C, so the wiring should be fairly simple, just the guages, ignition, and lights. The car has the r200 rear end with 3.90 gears that was just put in, and I have the z drive shaft. The engine bay is ready for everything to be put in. EvilRufusKay
Hook him up Tim....ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!! When you are done you can shoot over here to the east coast and show me the finer points of block sanding!!! While I watch...from a distance...not touching any sandpaper!!! Just kidding!! For a side job it would beat doing brakes and driveability on a 92 Mitsubishi Gallant...(garbage I am working on eating up time better spent on the Z)
love-my-V8-280Z
Do you understand whats all involved? You should have bought one with a V8 in it, if thats what you wanted, You can call some shops around town, someone will do it for you, anyone with brains will only agree to a by the hour payment. I know some have put a price on it only to have greatly under estimated the hours necessary. Most do this upgrade themslelf because its what they like to do. I could do it, but that would take away the time I need for my Z car. I already dont spend enuff time with the family.
Tim240z
How do you plan to move the car and drivetrain around?
