Guest Graffix Posted May 2, 2004 Share Posted May 2, 2004 at first i was going to go with a SBC 283 and build it up but i came across a deal on a 79 mustang GHIA i think it is the 302 and the guy who had it before put some toys on the engine including a torker raised edlebrock aluminum intake and a double pumper 4 barrel holley carb i pulled this car from the junkyard yesterday played with it some and got it running it ran pretty good very strong and it isnt all tuned up. so this is my donor car and a 4 speed tans with overdrive. I have a 76' 280Z 2+2 and that is what im putting this all into. I think im going to go and pull both engine and trans this coming weekend. I plan on cleaning up the 5.0 H.O. and painting the block while i have it out. I love the Idea of the v-8 in the Datsun i cant wait to get this car up and running with that 5.0 Graffix Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
