I run 14X 7 rims, I run Cooper Cobra GT 215/60/14 on the front and 235/60/14 on the rear. These are about as big as you can go without changing to coil overs. I choose them because they have a good modern tread, but offered the raised white letters for the "old school" look. B.F. Goodrich TA radials and Dunlop Radial GT tires are available in these sizes as well.

i bought my 260 z in january, and im still in the process of getting the mag wheels (but i know that is the size and style i want). i am running on stock suspension, but im sure i plan on switching to coilovers. i want to be able to run 245/50's on the rear and im not sure what up front (maybe 215/60) do you think this is a good idea or do you have a better suggestion? thanks

Well, I seem to have confused vegas and tejas in my first post, I was referring to vegas's set up. Sorry. My car is just a relatively mild street car with stockish suspension. I just know I love the tailhappiness of the car with the current matching 205's all around, I don't think would want much wider in the rear. I was just wondering if your car could still get loose in the corners.

I installed an Energy Suspension master urethane bushing set and a set of

lowering springs, 1" drop. I don't remember who made the springs. I have Tokico strut cartridges in and a 1" sway bar up front. The car handles excellently, ride quality is not harsh, and I am very happy with it. I run a 350 HP 327 with a 700r4 automatic behind it. It is a nice cruiser with plent of ass when needed.

Ive got the slotted mags and some Yoko' tires (bald and cracked) on there right now that are 195 65 14. yah, Im going to go with a 225 50 or 60 series.. depends whats closer to the factory size (overall hight.. I might go a bit smaller to help with acceleration slightly) And I was thinking of BFG's. Ive got them on my 93 King Cab.. )on 15" slotted mags too! heh heh..) and they are a good tire for street use IMHO.
