Guest tejas74260
i know this is no new thing to y'all, but im new to the Z scene and i just wanted some information from you guys. i just saw rebello racing's website and i thought instead of trying to pick and choose different parts, just have them build me a three liter motor for me and i can supply the head. would this be a good idea? anyone know any prices they offer since you have to call them? any info would be great. thanks Mark
rc's240z
Rebello builds a good motor, my buddy bought a 2.9 L motor from them and spent around 5K.
Guest tejas74260
yeah, i really seem interested in their "full on" three liter engine, heres what they say it includes: A true 3.0 liter 6-cylinder. (the base 3 liter engine) Gives you a stroker crank, a big bore, long rods and the ability to use any of the L-series cylinder heads. the FULL ON three liter Engine as above with street porting, cam kit, and big bore SU carburetor modification. This package can produce 270+HP. i was gonna send them a p90 head ( i know, some people may disagree) i suppose their horsepower ratings are at the flywheel, correct? jeffp
Dave builds a very good engine. I had him build to my specs. Could you do me a favor though. I am interested in the "long Rods" that was mentioned in your post. Could you give them a call and get the length of the rod they are using and from where. I am Very curious about it, and if you can get that information for me I can give you a very good idea of what to expect from your engine.
