GAZRNR
Has anyone made a heat sheild to divert the heat from the right side header away from the battery? I notice a lot of heat on the left side of the battery and it is very warm. Right now I have no hood on the car so heat has an easy exit but I don't want to melt my battery once I get everything buttoned up. Thanks
Owen
Is it normal to be hotter on the right? I have that same problem... While my batt is in the back, I would suggest some battery wrap from summit racing. Maybe a box? Or, just a piece aluminum. Owen
strotter
I haven't had so much of a problem with the batter area but with the wiring that runs next to the header. I melted two wiring looms before I made a little right-angle aluminum cover that runs the length of the run. Works like a charm.
