EZ-E
Im looking at this turbo here, and concidering buying it. Its clean and has very low miles. Its a T3/T4 unit. I noticed though it is far different from my stock turbo and will need a Vband clamp to mate up the exhaust. What Im questioning is that this does not have a wastegate like my little T3. Would this type of turbo need to have an external waste gate mounted to the manifold for me to use this turbo and or anyone like it? Figured I would post this here as you guys here seem more technically minded. Hoping Im also not sounding to stupid as well.
Brad-ManQ45
That isn't a T3 turbine housing - it's a tangential T4. No wastegate provision. Nice divided housing though - depending on A/R anmd trim it might work....

Drftn280zxt
how wide is the impeller opening on that T3/T4? I think two of those on my dream L28 would work quite well.
