Guest slyfontaine
Hello. I have no wiring in my 74 260Z. I bought it that way. Would the painless kit be good. I really hate and don't know much about wiring. Any diagrams to wire the painless kit would be great. Thanks.
Guest 305240
No need to get hot under the collar my man. ( The bold letters and the red face) Wiring is simple. Just take it one wire at a time. Painless is pretty simple and straight forward. I'm sure they have instructions with it. If not, I know you can call them. I'm completely rewiring my 240. I've wired enough street rods to know what I have to do. First thing is strip out all the old stuff!
BillZ260
There is some other posts (do a search) on this topic and it looks like I need to finish making the painless to Z combo switch diagram. But like 350 said, it's easy enough to figure out if you have paitience and at least 90 IQ points...
jimzdat
And if you wanna save a few bucks, check out the harnesses over at http://www.ezwiring.com Helped a buddy wire a 48 Chevy truck with one of those kits--plenty easy; even allowing for the extras we put in like power seats, electric wipers, CD player, nitrous, electric fans, etc
