True School 240Z Posted July 17, 2004 Share Posted July 17, 2004 Greetings, I've tried the search function first to no avail. I have a busted R180 in my '73. I need to replace this, and I have access to a R200 LSD. However, I have read before that the R200 from the '87 300ZX with the LSD is not a bolt in operation for the 240Z. Is this true? If so, what will I need to make this happen? Or should I just replace it with a R280 or R200 from a 70's model? johnc Posted July 18, 2004 Share Posted July 18, 2004 Keep trying the search function. This topic has been covered thousands of times in the Drivetrain forum. A quick search by me using R180 R200 and Swap and selecting the All Terms option came up with at least a dozen threads specific to your questions.
