I am looking for some ppl with a similar setup to mine (or someone who just .. knows! ) to tell me what spark plugs I should be running. Im convinced that I should rip out the Champion's that are in there right now and go with NGK's.. but what p/n? And what gap should I set them to? My car is a 75 280 (stock L28) with 72 SU's and no cat/mufler. (well, I dont clasify the 'cherry bomb' glaspack as a mufler!) I am tryin to get this thing to stop hesitating/boging (idle to about 2500) and running so rich (all the time.. stinky) I think some good plugs (and a new air filter ) might make a diff here...
