240Z Turbo
A buddy of mine locally did the RB25 swap into a 240sx. Bone stock longblock laid down 586hp@wheels @ 22psi. Custom intake and header with Big Kahuna turbo.

Guest datsunRBZ
Yeah i got the plate as a gift..... the swap is quite expencive so far i spent about 8000 2500-for rb25det tranny and everything else 2500 for install welding and they paid for the z31 oil pan and return 200 for intercooler pipes and all of that 200 for fans and 4000 for corbeau seats a ,blitz turbo timer ,panasport wheels, blitz dc boost guage and some other things and im not sure if i need a rear end or not a asked motorsport in calli and they said my year came stock with the r200 and it should be ok as long as i dont do 1st gear drops

Scottie-GNZ
A buddy of mine locally did the RB25 swap into a 240sx. Bone stock longblock laid down 586hp@wheels @ 22psi. Custom intake and header with Big Kahuna turbo. If this is true, seems to me the extra cost of an RB26 would not be worth it, considering most folks probably could not deal with 586RWHP in a 240Z. Is that a twisted view?
Guest datsunRBZ
all i know is rb26 is way too much cash for me lol
