zguy95135 Posted August 8, 2004 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Finally, we changed the oil fixed the plug wires a voila!! On the 1st crank it ran!! Its been over a year since we started the mechanical on the Z, with lots of ups and downs but it is finally over (mostly). It ran great (A little rich because of the turbo injectors) and it sounded awesome. The only thing is we're going to have to pull off the main cover to replace the gasket because the one MSA sent is faulty (the cover is tight but it seeps coolant). Thats ok though, it'll only take a day to take off the rad, oil pump ect. The thing that fixed it was that it was 2 teeth off of top dead center, and that my old injectors were seized. Now all I need to do is get some more brake fluid, finish getting the parts for the windshield wipers, and tap a lug. WHHOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!
