Guest bastaad525
Only if you can get one cheap. We've all heard the claims that they make 10hp more over the stock 240 intakes, but no one has proven it thus far, at least that I know of. However, I will say this, there is one big, proven advantage that *I* personally noticed when I switched over to the 260 intake, as well as many other guys I've talked to who have gotten the same results. With the 240 intake I noticed that my cylinders did not run even... it was a while back now so I forget which way it was, but it either ran leaner or richer on the #'s 2 and 5 cylinders, than on the other four cylinders. After switching to the 260 intake, this problem went away, and all six plugs looked identical whenever I checked them. I can only imagine this would increase power at least a little bit, and provide a smoother running, more efficient engine. I believe I paid about $50 for the 260 intakes. You may be able to find them in a junkyard for real cheap.
