Anything is possible, but it would be neither cost effective, nor worthwhile.

The only real selling point to the LT1 is the fuel injection system (which is pretty decent) and the reverse flow cooling.....

Take the FI out of the equation, and you are left with reverse flow cooling as the only real advantage.....not a great enough selling point to put that much effort and money in to......

so are you saying that its not a worth it to go carb. or if i go carb in still left with the cooling advantage?

when you say effort and money where would i be wasteing these to things by goin carb. im just trying to get the fact and info i need to make a decision rither or not to buy it.

the reason i was thinking of using this block for carbiration is that it is only a bare block. so therefore i would have to get all th FI part for it

You would be better off just getting a pre-LT1 block and using that.....they are dime a dozen in the classifieds, e-bay, etc...

Definitely not worth going carb......you are going to spend a bunch of $$ to do that, and there really aren't any advantages to it. You could better spend that $$ on 'go-fast' parts for an older block....
