BQR280Z Posted August 23, 2004 Share Posted August 23, 2004 A very interesting project, my son had 3 SHO's, so I got to know them way better than I wanted too. The motor is awesome, 2 stage intake, good revs, tough bottom end, lots of potential. But the motor is heavy, and tall, and needs aboat load of electrics to make it run (not very good, Ford electrics). The intake needs to be turned around with a spacer which increases height even more, and with a bell housing from an Aerostar I don't think you will be able to place the motor that close to the firewall.
