Guest butlersZ
Anyone have any good tips on polishing aluminum valve covers or have tried any chemicals that have seemed to work really well? It is very humid where I live and I have no garage. [/u]
DaleMX
Aluminum polishes nicely with a polishing wheel and compound, it just takes a while. Doing a set of valve covers is a labor of love (you best love labor). Consider a shop that specializes in polishing. Dale
Brad-ManQ45
One winter in Hickory, NC I polished my aluminum valve covers for my '72 351CJ Mustang. Utilized sanding block, multiple grits of wet/dry and finished with SimiChrome. All by hand (too cold to go out) - boy did they look good!
