Guest BrandenZ
After playing contortionist for a few minutes, I managed to get ahold of what I believe to be the tach bulb that's blown... but I can't seem to get it out of whatever holder it may be in. I replaced a bulb that blew in the hazard switch -- that was dumb easy.. just fumbled around back there, pulled it out, and replaced. Is there some trick I'm missing with the tach bulb? datsunlover
IIRC it's a 'twist then pull' thing/socket (that the bulb clips into) that holds in the back of the guages. Real PITA to change those things. Hence the reason I have no light's on the spedo, and only after 3000 on the tach..
COZY Z COLE
This is the quote from the 78 280Z FSM, " Bulbs for indicator or for illumination can be easily replaced by twisting bulb socket. All meters and guages can be easily replaced without removing instrument panel." I'd like one of those STOOGES to come over here and demonsrate to me the ease of that quote on one of my cars!!!!!!! :flamedevil: LARRY
